Relationships Analysis:

Because she has no memories at all, all her memories have to be gleaned from other sims and sim games. In Sims 3 she has a slobby brother that she cleans up after called Parker, and parents Dustin and Iliana. And an Aunt Zelda Mae. In Sims 3, she has 4 points in painting, which suggests that her creativity points are spent in painting. She had 4 points as a child, so as an adult she hasn't progressed further in that passion.

Her relationship with Don started after his relationship with Cassandra, Nina, and Dina. He has higher relationship scores with her than the others, although he still proposed and got engaged to Cassandra after he began his relationship with Kaylynn. They have had public woohoo, although Kaylynn rejected him first time.

They bond over Weather and Work, and fight over animals, the paranormal and health.

Daniel's relationship with Kaylynn started just after Angela and Lilith became children. It started with kissing, and didn't progress past that until after the girls became teens, and his parent's died.
At the start of Pleasantview, they have not as yet woohooed.

Daniel and Kaylynn bond over Sport which both of them are Very Interested in. Everything else that Kaylynn is interested in, Daniel isn't. Daniel fights with Kaylynn about the Paranormal, and Politics. Also Health and Travel. None of Daniel's passions except for Sport and money floats Kaylynn's boat.

ANALYSIS

Kaylynn is an extreme introvert (1) so neither of her relationships were initiated by her. She is a hard worker (active) and very good at what she does (Cleaning 10). She has a strong work ethic (Hi Work Interest) which suggests that she is very loath to break faith with her customers. So her affairs with Don and Daniel were not taken lightly. On the other hand her Hi Nice score suggests that she would avoid conflict where possible, and that may go as far as being in a relationship with someone that she knows she shouldn't because she doesn't want to hurt them.

Don's affair with her was taken long after her affair with Daniel. This suggests that as a family sim she was feeling like her relationship with Daniel was going nowhere, and not leading to the family of her own that she aspires to. Don's seduction of her, and public woohoo would have made her feel like this was a relationship that was progressing. Public Woohoo being a public declaration of their relationship.  Hearing of his engagement to Cassandra, after their relationship had progressed, would be likely to be hurtful to start with, for her family aspiration. Kaylynn is very nice (10) so her relationship with Daniel would be predicated by the hurt she felt she was doing to his family.

From a compatibility point of view - neither Daniel or Don are a good match for her.

As an Aquarian, she'd prefer a Capricorn/Saggitarius. Don is Leo, and Daniel is a Virgo which Aquarians are repulsed by.  Family aspiration is repulsed by Romance aspiration, so both boys strike out there.

Turn-ons/Turn-offs are not set prior to play. However because of  the makeover, hers are randomly set. Neither of the boys fit her turn-ons. Neither of the boys fit her turn-offs.

Don clashes on 4 topics out of 18, Daniel clashes on 9 topics out 18. So Don is better off from an interest point of view.

Kaylynn has a gender preference of 0/0 after public woohoo with Don, and an affair with Daniel. This suggests that she's open to relationships with either gender, and given her high interest in the paranormal, wouldn't say no because of other species (plantsim, alien, vampire, etc). Because of her family aspiration, matched with maxed Cooking, Cleaning, and Hi Active/Nice she's going to be Super Mum, if she ever has kids.  If we assume that she doesn't have traditional views for marriage and family (which given the 2 concurrent affairs is reasonable), being a single mum in a co-parenting situation or blended family would work. Because of Kaylynn's high work ethic, not working is probably not on the cards for her, she would prefer to work while the kids are at school and be there for the kids when they get home.

Summary:

Kaylynn is too good for both Daniel and Don. She needs to get a nice guy. :D However she has got heartbreak in her future no matter what happens. She is a great domestic service provider, and is highly skilled. She is creative and a good painter, but she prefers to tinker with work things.
